Kopapa Caf and Restaurant is chef Peter Gordon's (of the renowned The Providores in Marylebone) new project: an all-day eatery serving his trademark fusion food. Also involved are the original owners of Kiwi chain Gourmet Burger Kitchen. The restaurant, located in London's bustling Covent Garden, is conveniently open seven days a week, and provides the perfect sustenance for every occasion: brunch - complete with great Kiwi coffee - before a weekend shopping expedition, leisurely lunches, pre and post theatre dinners or drinks at the buzzy bar. Like The Providores, Kopapa's all day dining menu is mainly composed of small sharing plates of fusion food elements from European, Middle Eastern, Antipodean and Asian food are all present, correct, and wonderfully incorporated into surprising new combinations. The express and pre-theatre menus have a more traditional starter-main-dessert structure, and lean more heavily on European influences. Whatever you fancy, book now, as Kopapa Caf and Restaurant looks set to become a very popular Covent Garden fixture.
